Aslı and Murat are two friends who share an apartment. Through her photography, Aslı is trying to break into Istanbul’s art scene, but she has a deep sense of discomfort in this environment. Murat’s passivity and ease at home contrast starkly with Aslı, who is enterprising and full of anger. The film depicts the family-like relationship of these two friends, since they are in a way each other’s chosen family. They will attack the frames and smash the windows of institutions, but what for? Could this actually benefit the very institutions they cannot decide whether to join or not? This includes - in addition to every sort of performance - the film in which they appear. Well, at least they are having fun.
